InnoSepra was founded by a team with extensive technology development and commercialization experience with a large industrial gas company having commercialized more than 50 technologies in more than 100 plants (10 to 6,000 tons per day scale). The areas of expertise include production and purification of industrial gases, food/beverage grade carbon dioxide, and use of industrial gases in various applications.  The technologies include adsorption (Temperature-Swing Adsorption, Pressure-Swing Adsorption, and Vacuum-Swing Adsorption), membranes, reaction-based purification systems, distillation (conventional and cryogenic) as well as absorption.

Since its inception in 2007 InnoSepra is developing transformational technologies in the areas of Carbon Dioxide Capture, Renewable Natural Gas, and Pollutants Control.  InnoSepra's carbon capture technology can create significant value through reduction in the cost of capture from power plants and industrial sources, and using the captured carbon dioxide for enhanced oil recovery and/or sequestration.  This can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of both power generation/industrial processes and oil production.  The InnoSepra biogas purification technology can significantly reduce the cost of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) for power generation, transportation, and pipeline injection and has a significant lower Carbon Intensity compared to state-of-the-art upgrading technologies.  InnoSepra’s pollutants control technology by itself or in combination with carbon dioxide capture can achieve significantly lower levels of various emissions (acid gases, mercury, particulates, VOCs and heavy metals) at a lower cost.
